Worthless Girl

She was a worthless girl
In a lonely world
With her head always hanging low
She was full of self doubt
Her face always held a frown
How long she would stay alive, she didn't know
Noone ever stared
Nobody ever cared
The world let her fade away
She blends back into the mob
Bites back painful sobs
Just until the end of the day
....then her tears, she lets them run astray
"Why do you cry?"
"Why even try?"
So back and forth in her own head
"This is no kind of life"
"Time to say goodbye"
But she can't seem to decide when
....she just knows she'd rather be dead
She'll never see those who cry out in pain
Never see the people who's hearts feel disdain
Never hear the people who say she's insane
...never will you hear her laugh again
She loved by day
She hurt by night
But she was just a worthless girl anyway
Right?
