Who’s Your Friend
As I get into my middle age
I reflect on what I’ve engaged
Robberies, muggings, serious sexual assault
Dishing out beatings, a violence default
No Christian guilt, absolutely no fear
Slashed for being Jewish stabbed for being queer
Contract hits for business, some hits just for fun
I’ve spent over a decade always on the run
A bad man, feared and respected in equal measure
So many savagely killed enhancing my feeling of pleasure
I’ve tried every drug, drank every drink
Preventing me from having to try and think
The doctor said “it’s cancer!” I’m a terminal case
I pulled out my Berretta and shot him in the face
Then Alice said “You need to get right with God.”
So I shot her in the face for mentioning that fraud
With her dying last breath she said you’re going to hell
with her choice of lifestyle she was going there as well
A hell full of demons whipping flesh from the bone
That’s stupid, why would Satan punish one of his own?
At his table he’s set and kept for me a place
I am so sure, I’m tempted to shoot myself in the face
Hell will be full of drink, drugs and hookers
A place for folks who party hard, not for on-lookers
It does not matter what they say in the end
Truth be told, the devil has been my only friend
