Polychromatic pain
Six feet deep
in this loneliness
Where demons
are my only company
&
Lights burn my mind
&
Words sting my soul
An opulescent orange
Drenched in disgust
nothing moves forward
&
Everything holds me back
Music is my only companion
my brain drinks in lyrics of
profoundly damaged artists
What damages them?
Pain,disgust, life
Flowers grow in my ribcage
Blood their water
bones their bed
But soon, they too
will wilt before they bloom
F u l l y
Like a woman who
saves herself for the
right man,
but who offers herself
to strangers in bars
because she knows
time is her enemy
These flowers will be
destroyed, just like the body
in which they were planted
Six feet deep in
Polychromatic pain
Six feet deep
being driven insane
No pills, no potions
No drink, no escape
Your labyrinth is yours alone
&
You will die
attempting to escape
in this loneliness
Where demons
are my only company
&
Lights burn my mind
&
Words sting my soul
An opulescent orange
Drenched in disgust
nothing moves forward
&
Everything holds me back
