I moved into a nice neighborhood
with a vile vice that I never understood
Hours of violence followed by silence
and advice for a chance to spy with an eye lens
to no ends and no choice, an ear with no voice
My friend lends me a gun for fun to rejoice

Next door---
--- Sex too loud from the couple upstairs
Nobody cares---
---A domestic dispute with glass breaking
and a woman's voice shrieking---

I grab the gun
and I pound on the door
unheard over the surrounding sound
found within an awoken unspoken word
as the door is kicked down
