I am gone
Not far
In a different realm
It's beautiful here my love
I feel no sorrow
No pain
No shame
I have no sickness, no need for drugs or a buzz
Dry up your river of tears
My friends and my precious loves-let me once and for all alleviate your fears: I AM FINE
Finally free of all the ties that bind
Able to see all of life's spectrum of colors
Here in the wonderland, glorious afterlife
I am with others who have gone before-we are all whole and happy
Now dry your tears and smile love
Weep for me no more
*Had to use a quote by Walt Whitman as inspiration....."All goes onward and outward nothing collapses and to die is different from anyone supposed and luckier"...…

good stuff, and congrats on the realm. There's a really nice message in here, kinda heart warming to read
there be a tiny typo between the first and twentieth line ..but I won't be so bold as to point it out

There's a sweet and heavenly atmosphere wafting through this poem which makes it quite poignant and touching, though to make it stronger I'd suggest adding more concrete images and a greater sense of narrative. Describe places and people, use more metaphors etc. JMHO, of course. x

the heart has reasons that reason fails to understand so let the heart reside where it wishes. I love the serenity and sheer bitter sweet images in this piece. thanks for sharing.

Be it a curse or a blessing, songs enter my head reading poems. Some have no connection, others may have links. In this case “Condition of the Heart” and “Raspberry Barrette” sprung up.
