Painfully Yours
Why must you throw me from the heavens?
Don't you hear my cries as I fall?
Though standing upright, held onto by thin air,
I crawl to you underneath skin and bones.
I beg you to give in to your pride.
How long must I suffer as I give more than I have?
When will you open your eyes
to me being painfully yours.
Don't you hear my cries as I fall?
Though standing upright, held onto by thin air,
I crawl to you underneath skin and bones.
I beg you to give in to your pride.
How long must I suffer as I give more than I have?
When will you open your eyes
to me being painfully yours.
