from lion to lioness
i seek to impose upon your highness
through infra-red eyes
and watch the inner glows of our souls radiate
as we orbit inside each other's radius
lit up like two neon trails
illuminating the darkness around us
making love and war in surround sound
with my mental rod as the ground
to your cerebral lightening
ubiquitous in expression
electrifying all senses of perception
I capture
your full spectrum in high definition
as we roam poetry's panoramic landscape
like paranormal alphas
grappling with emotions inside our octagon
pushing and pulling for leverage
tugging at the many string theories of us
seeking to unravel only to become more entangled
strangled inside this vice of cause and effect
equally yoked needing so badly to come up for air
but deep down we're just two deep divers
who couldn't give two fucks
about drowning
