thunder growls
lightning slashes
wind scatters
falling rain
memories fade
kissing leaves
puddles of life
hit the earth
burning sun
drying tears
old pain
giving birth
to hope
nestled in
mothers arms
sweetest love
innocent baby
purest form
untainted
corruption free
if only
we could
navigate
through hurdles
keeping faith
without politics
or religion
no grand plan
just kids
tender
and kind
without hate

Keeping the childlike attributes as we grow into adults would be a wonderful thing...they are born free of all the ugly in this world...sadly all of that is taught...
