not that I was paying attention, just  
some dystopian play, I thought,  
and phrases like 'new world order' and  
'all our real friends in the world  
live in english speaking countries...'  
 
who writes this crap, I wondered, and  
I wanted to laugh, but then,
when I looked around, I thought maybe  
this isn't a good time...
