Stop the pounding
Inside my head.
And the throbbing
In my soul; so
I can find peace –
However brief….
To tell the truth,
I want to die.
I’m sick of this
Fucking shadow
Of life I’m trapped
Within right now
It’s not like I
Haven’t tried to
Fix things your way.
Au contraire! I
Gave up everything
To follow you.
