Cuddled blue
it’s up to you
to take control of your life
when the world tries to drown your voice
stand tall and yell “hell no!”
too many painful thoughts
but there is more to this world
don’t ever just give up
when things seem dark
bring in the light
I forced myself out of the corner
step by step I learned to walk
and as I speak, I know you’re listening
not to my sorrow but to my heart
looking back at my life, I see
I am the one that needed to love me
if I couldn’t learn that
then what hope was there?
demons are sneaky
they will go to no end to bring you down
you will mess up more times than not
but it’s never too late to better yourself
so stand again to start a new beginning
this world can be your friend
don’t make it your enemy
get to it, and get it right this time!
critics will act like they know you
pretending they care, until they cuddle you blue
pointing out all the wrong things
well I say, learning is mistakes with a touch of love
always need hope no matter how distant
no need to limit yourself, opportunities are endless
the world is in your hands

insecurities loosen your grip
believe in your own beauty
and get rid of basic
evolution is waiting

Thanks so much 😁 I believe people have a hard time caring for themselves. I wanted a poem to remind people to take time to care for them.

Such an inspiring poem and one in which I can relate too.In life you can't please everyone critics are there every step of the way.Not sure why but many just waiting to see us fall.Keep your chin up and keep walking towards the beauty that is all around 🌈🌺
