Beautiful Nightmare

It feels like I'm drowning
But that i keep forgetting that i am
I feel like i opened my eyes
Looked up to the sky,
Only to realize that I'm under water
the sky looking so far away
I forget i need to breathe
I forget how to move my arms
I forget to try

It feels like I'm slowly
So slowly
sinking
So slowly
I don't even notice
I can't help but look up
and watch as the sun slowly starts to fade
Amazed by the sight
I don't fight it
Forgetting that air is escaping
my lungs
I simply let it happen
And worst of all
I am content.
It feels so surreal,
Like a dream
Like a beautiful nightmare
