Fashionista! #1: Icon🐾
I'm Fashionista and I get around.
I set the trends with everything I touch.
The city is my jungle through the day,
And when the night arrives I'm on the prowl.
You know a tiger diva hunts alone,
With high-end tastes I only can afford.
My chauffeur follows slowly from behind,
To keep apace the treading of my stalk.
Then patiently awaits while clubbing out,
With extra change of clothing if there's blood.
You might be wondering if I have guests
I bring back to my lair of chic refined.
I always save the very best for last,
And keep the cuff link gold as souvenir.

ah, a night tiger on the prowl,
it brings back images of the movie "Cat People" (1982, not 1942...) I haven't seen the movie in decades, but there was this same kind of elegant night street, neo-noir feel in this poem...

Aha! Imagery that takes you for the walk with it. Loved the switchup at the end with the gold cufflink vs. gold leash tigers can be kept on. ;)
