My Mentality
I’m always out and about
living my life to the fullest
being so naïve to the fact
I can’t even see the snakes
slithering through the grass
when my girl moves her body
it makes me weak in the knees
I love to get high off her sexy movements
not paying attention to the haters
they’re plotting against me
out at the bar smiling with friends
laughing it up for no good reason
I’m just so high off living
I don’t see those jealous vultures
staring holes in the back of my skull
they will come
tear me down
distort the truth
but don’t feel sorry for me
it won’t affect shit
I have that live it up
love my girl right
and brush the haters off
mentality
so to all those snakes
with nothing better to do but be shady
creeping up on me
over analyzing every word
I only have one thing to say to you
better luck next time!

As Taylor Swift sings it best "Haters gonna hate"...That is true in whatever we do...Be it overblown or minimalistic they will find a way to try and shoot us down...Rise up, be strong, be you, for they are wrong 🙂
It's kind of funny you bring up that song. At work we would listen to the radio. When that song came on I would start singing it, lol. I already know I'm a better person because I don't have to stoop to such childish acts. They will do what they can to attack. It's just a sad attempt. Sometimes it's really hard to see the snakes in the grass...nature has given them very good camouflage. But don't let haters get you down. A hater is never worthy of your energy. Spread it in more fruitful fields. :)

They often pretend to be your friends. Then attack when they have your trust. I will forever see such things as pathetic. I do not slow down my happiness for such people. I will be strong with my friends and family. The best thing to do is keep smiling 😁

It sure is. What people like that do is just being gutless. I feel sorry for them, I will never need pity for I have wonderful friends such as you. Hugs 🤗
