- MALICE MANOR -

PART ONE

The Malice Manor stood, statuesque, on top of the hill. In deep shadow, foreboding, the mists clung to the house like a burial shroud. Lightning flashes, giving a brief glimpse to Gothic estate with its wrought iron gates and watchful gargoyles.
�� The sky opened, then, letting loose a deluge, setting a run off across the driveway. The moon found a break in the clouds and cast her eye upon the Malice Manor. Does she wonder what goes in the mystery? Or has she seen it all?
�� The drapes are pulled tight, concealing the happenings within. A light seems to burn inside the Manor. Flickers will appear between the drapes, as if someone or some bodies were moving about.
�� The lights go down, casting the room into darkness. A cry arose from the shadow, a cry of fear or perhaps one of pain. Another strike of lightning and drapes were suddenly thrown open. There, in the open room, floated a woman. Old Lady Malice, herself, the last in a long line cruel people. She was suspended vertically with her arms out to her side, as if being crucified.
�� She looked up, her face was bruised and bleeding. She seemed stare at nothing. Then her withered face split with a smile and she said, "Jesus wept." Followed by another burst of lightning and clap of thunder.
�� Suddenly she was propelled forward by something unknown and smashed headfirst through the plate glass window where she feel to her death from three stories above.
