Lonely Heart
Loneliness is cruel
it hurts deep inside
and never repeals
and just when you believe it can’t get worse
it does
I listen to the sound of my heartbeat
and hear the echoes
of my losses
defeats
and well kept secrets
I speak to my conscience clearly
and in my silence
I reach out to embrace my inner self
but I am full of despair
and can’t hold on to anything

This is my favorite line. It's like when you lay in bed after a long bad day, and instead of sleeping, that bad day just replays over and over in your head. I can feel that, good write.
