The light of day burns his flesh
He craves to touch her
He watches over her as she slumbers
Her pail skin
Covered in bruises and deep gashes
His dark eyes roam over her
He sees all the pain
He sees the memories
Etched into her beautiful body
She may not be human
But her pain is just the same
Her wolf try’s to heal her
But her human body won’t allow it
He walks closing the curtness
He walks slowly to her bed kneeling beside her
He kisses each cut watching it heal
He moves from her legs to her belly
Slowly moving to the deepest cuts on her chest and neck
As he kisses her body she begins to stir waking
She slowly opens her eyes staring down at him
He stares back hypnotized
By those green and silver eyes
She smiles a small sad smile
He kisses her chest and stops staring at her neck
She lays her head back exposing the delicate flesh
He gently lifts her head bringing her close to him
He places his lips to her neck kissing the wound
She wraps her arms around him not wanting to let go
He holds her close comforting her
He tells her he forgives her that it’s all going to be okay
He lifts her from her bed
She wraps her legs around him
He holds her close promising her no one will ever hurt her again
He promises she is safe with him
She holds tightly
Promising as long as he’s with her she won’t hurt anymore
He kisses her lips slowly and passionately and promises her
I am forever and eternal I am forever your guardian
