Whispering Wind
laying here in silence of the night
my mind not giving in to sleep
weary heart tearing up from thoughts
hearing your name echoing outside
whispering wind chanting sounds
awakening this lonely feeling deep within
was it me who failed you or you me
where is it sacred souls wander to
when our voices are no longer needed
how easy it was for another to invade
pushing friendships aside to be un treasured
with no remorse of a wreak less conscience
less turbulent is the wind thru memories
your name silences as morning comes
comforting my soul of you leaving me forgotten

This is love's agony at its very, very best, flower . . .

profound and poignant I find this poem FG! the title itself is very evocative..proof you don't need too many words to say a lot! very impressive and amazing ink.

The ballad through the chamber's of your heart is asournful as the wind outside. Perhaps it was lonely too, and needed company in all that broken-hearted lonliness.
