Crying

crooked face in the mirror
a mirror reflects the crooked face
the crowd dissipates and the night is over

can't you see the exhaustion on my eyelid?
the teardrops never seem to end
six hundred dead in a hurricane

I'm not her
I'm not her
I'll never be as interesting as her
I'll never be as wonderful as her
The audience is gone
My sweater is off and nobody is left to see my arms

what do I have to change now?

the answer is simple, to dumb myself down
ill just perform my own song
so after the show I can ask myself,
"what am I doing so wrong?"
