Blow Me Out of the Water

Out of the water you could blow me  
With just one pic of your body  
 
In a society where your sexuality  
Is such a precious stock and commodity  
 
All because you are female, hot and sexy  
The mini-celebrity life has no place for me  
 
I have to work 100x as hard with my words  
With usually a tenth of the result;  
A poem of mine garnering as many likes  
as a pic of you .... the notion absurd!  
 
You have a nuke button over my talent and me  
And that nuke button is your own sexuality.  
 
So knows this, any poet worth his salt!  
There are days when I feel there's no result.  
 
Been on Twitter since 2015, try as I may  
Over 2000 posts, but only a few pics of you;  
Could surpass me in favorites and followers  
In just but a day.
