so many mountains stood in my way
until you came into my life and took my hand
guided me along thru life's gloomy fog
one night you told me to look up to heaven
there it was, a shooting purple star just for us
down on our knees we believed in dreams
laying still a midst silent darkness
I heard your heart sing so beautifully
mine hummed in perfect harmony
moon shines ever so brightly over me
my heart is surfing across the ocean to you
guided by your shinning light of luv
heard our precious song on the radio
oh how listeners envied such a sound
they have no idea how it became written
two lonely souls wandering to no place alone
you & me brought together by heavens grace
completing each other to be who we are now

Hey David........you're smiles always uplift me........I think you could write this way......being romantic is a state of mind.....state of heart.......to write exactly what you feel.....what you invision in your mind......sort of like remembering a dream and writing about it.......when I write my mind and heart are focused completely I to what I'm writing as if I'm experiencing it right then......that's what it feels like.......purple luv & hugs xo :)

Great song, Purple One. And a lovely verse born of it and "luv". A purple shooting star - wow. I've seen blue and pink, silver and green, but never purple. That must've been spectacular, especially shared with one you love.
