People & Love well spent

We are none of us one dimensional beings.  There is always more than meets the eye.  Like you, I've chosen the path of positivity and love.  I recently got into a discussion with my roommate about this subject.  My roommate believed that because I seek positive influences and surround myself with love I was blind to or ignoring all things dark and ugly.  I don't think this is true.  Every one of us chooses how we will expend our energy.  I choose to use mine positively in the hopes that it will perhaps have an impact on someone else's life that may be having an ugly moment.  I'm happy to see I'm not alone in this thinking.  Much love...  :)

Very true Willow such a fantastic comment! I just feel like I've given more than my fair share already and need to work on myself for a while as a priority. I don't see it as selfish because I feel the same as you that in being more positive only then can I help others. I also take comfort in the loving, and not afraid to be different ones. Those are the most realist. I always say it's better to have one true friend than a thousand half hearted ones.

I also have told someone I loved them when I only loved how they made me feel. It's not a good idea, lol. It makes things complicated.

Give your love and care always to those who deserve it, and you will get love and care back 🤗 at least from me... hehe

Thanks DevilsChild you're comments always make me smile :) That is so very true some of the most social people I know are in fact the loneliness and there lives lack real meaning. I think I know what you're referring to but please don't let that stop you finding common ground with others and appreciating them for it. You shouldn't regret telling that person how you felt just because she didn't appreciate it. You are so kind thank you 😆

I think learning the roles they play, is when we really start to value people. Roles, good or bad, still play a vital part in teaching us valuable lessons. So, everyone has their value.
