Time

Time, the inevitable guardian of existence,
creator of deadlines, procurer of persistance.
A driving force of success and a catalyst of failure,
shaker of realities no matter if they're tailored.
Riddle me an answer that wont lead to more question,
like how I should proceed with life to encourage progression.
Too much like right that would make it too easy,
instead you feed me fairy tales designed to mislead me.
Driven forces in the rear view creating distractions,
achievements and shortcomings divided into factions.
My reaction? these days that involves critical thinking,
analytical dissection that might drive some to drinking.
Personally I take it as a challenge worth the work,
anything work having should be more than just a perk.
More than just an idea to entice imagination,
the virtue of patience is always kept waiting.
As incessant as nightmares replaying on a loop,
and as long as the journey to seek and find your truth.
As time ticks we all wish things were simple and honest,
nothing in this world is ever basic or promised.
At some point we all discover and define that line,
to contemplate, study, and interpret Time.
