A Ringbarker's Guide to Surrogacy
Three pirouettes left
And she was a swan dive
Off the tenth, poolside
Malloy, depressed & hungover
He was always like that
Took the call, siren on
His entrance all he still had
Doctor Death was already there
So too, the news crew
Yeah, over the radio, someone said
There's this girl, dancing on the edge
But when we got there, she was dead
Fell to her end, here on the ground
Still as a board, I'll bet drugs
What else could explain it?
Murder maybe, fate perhaps
Coroner says she's pregnant, alas
Single or double homicide?
The detective had a sniff
He looked alive for a change
Who's the guy?
Why aint he sad?
Her body was there, but she was gone
Now he left, no, he wanted to
Hell, pulled out his revolver
Held it close to his head
And didn't hesitate, case solved
Crime and punishment politely done
Move along, move along ...
And she was a swan dive
Off the tenth, poolside
Malloy, depressed & hungover
He was always like that
