Invisible
A person you pass by on the street
Without looking their way. They are
Another ghost. They have a heartbeat.
They are second best to the North Star,
But can be just as important and bright.
You always leave them in the car,
Lost and forgotten, even in the sunlight.
They are soft whispers and shadows.
They make you want to miss your flight
Back home. They are your light doze
And not heavy snoring. They
Are the moon and sun that rose
Up. They are people who never say
Too much because they are always
Observing. You do not pay
Much attention. They are not a blaze
Or a strong force to be reckoned
With. They rarely catch you in a daze.
They might be gone in a second
When you think they have been beckoned.
