you say you don’t know
what it is I want from you
well let me spell it out
I want you to f-e-e-l
I just want you to be r-e-a-l
and not some shell of a person
there was a time
we were so close
but now I see the differences
when you said yes
I said no
when things got tough
you ran for the hills
well, go ahead
run, run, run to those hills
I don’t think you’ll ever get there
it makes me wonder
about all the times
you tried to belittle me
tried to take the crown
right off my head
claiming to be the true royalty
when you were only
just a jester
and to think
I looked up to you too
when in the end
you just let me down
guess it is what it is
call this insult to injury
words wasted from an overgrown child
but that is our differences
I had passion when you didn’t
I cared even when things turn to shit
as for you
well, I think you’re just too…

I feel too many times people run rather than face their problems. Rather give up on friends and family then work through differences. I want to be stronger than that. Being a man, or just a human means to face your problems.

The hardest part about that is to come to grips with the idea that that conclusion of happiness might not grace this life. I believe in the Bible so bearing a cross comes to mind. Lol The definition of love and happiness also changes i think....from butterflies to buttered biscuits. Hahahaha 😎

Always should care. I wonder why it's hard for people just to be real also. I feel as time goes by so does the fire in people. So does the respect, and care. It's sad to see. But I will always be different in that view 😁
