As usual he's running late
Road rage drivers left and right
Then the office beckons how-de-do
Colleagues clicking at their desks
Metamorphosis efficient and refined
A day of drudges, drones, despair
Crawls slowly to a halt
Time to head home for his honey
After a quick stop for some milk...

There she is, his reigning queen
Chittering at the door
A tap or two from sectioned legs
Antenna well extended
Mandibles parting for a kiss
His comfort at the close of day..
