Overthinking

Thoughts running a thousand miles
A minute. Hold up and let my
Brain catch up. The smiles

Hide confusion. I am trying to defy
Logic and understanding, but
I cannot simply lie and deny

What I overthink about. What
I ignore only might become worse
And might be too hard to shut

Out. Every perfect line and verse
Becomes too messed up to fix.
It cannot distract or adverse

From the problem. The bricks
Keep piling and lining up. It
Does not stop the mix

And over analysis of every bit
Of information. It will become
A hard knockout and hit.

I know that it will only make some
Or a lot of the problems increase
Higher. There are more to come.
