The Type of Love
I want that type of love
Where we speak with gestures
And not have to say a word
The type of love
Where we still find the good
Even on our bad days
A love where we don't need
Nothing to entertain us
Except us..
Where can I find that type of love?
A person I can hold
Without letting go
A person that helps me grow
A person who does not judge
And accepts me as a whole
Where can I find that type of love?
A lover I can look in the eyes
Without telling a lie
A lover that I can cherish
Even when they die...
Where can I find that type of love?

Deep down, we all hope for the same kind of love & devotion.
I'd rather be alone than settle for anything less.
That type of love is rare but don't ever settle for a substandard love that doesn't meet your needs as that's a recipe for unnecessary heartache & disaster.
Life... is just too short !
My hope for you is that you find the kind of contentment that you're seeking, without settling for less than you deserve.
