an emotional hangover lingers
as leftover reveries filled with
vivid images of him and her unfolding
under the folds of sincere and
engaging conversations..unveiling feelings
undressing and addressing
the higher desires they both required
of having their cerebral thirsts sated
and their souls mated
he recalled how he teased
her naivete like a schoolgirl with
a grown woman's physique
fingergering underneath her mystique
stroking her womanhood from inside out
bringing forth her inner being
just to see her shine under his spotlight
he grinned at the thought
of how many times his archaeological thrusts
excavated the quintessential she
and spilled her riches all over the bed
how her walls pulsated..thoroughly quenched
remembering how she clenched
to every inch of him

for him to plant himself deeper
and watched him dig his own grave
