A Server's Lament

Can you please tell me the source of my frustration?
Dealing with trivial matters takes much preservation.
Try to understand arrogance with no reservation.

It's eating me away, a carnivorous creature with a hunger for my patience.
Throwing myself into a facade for monetary recompense.
I'm selling a fake laugh and a pretty smile; if you like it, it costs twenty percent.

Now, pray tell; My voices have plenty of answers.
Why do these people wear on my nerves like an obnoxious cancer.
Cutting and Catty, they're less attractive exotic dancers.

Deep Underground, my rant is through.
Though my loves; indeed I've missed you.
