Bliss & Balance

As you move your body next to me there is so much more to lose than we realize.
Scared that we want it and that if we give in we could lose it all.
Allowing what is between us to become real, will inevitably disappoint us.
It could not possibly live up to what we imagined it to be.
The universe does not allow for such infinite bliss without a balance.

If we take it will it break us?
If we give in will we have to surrender everything that we know and love?
If we even recognize this feeling between us will it be too hard to resist?

You've seen the truth in my eyes, heard the desire in my voice
You've felt the reaction on my skin as you shake my hand,
You've witnessed me struggle to be next to you,

Now we've given it vocabulary:
Attraction, Desire, Temptation
Infatuation, Obsession, Hunger

Have we already formed the intention and therefore surrendered to the temptation?We'll know when we touch...
