Upon the darkness over me
Let me taste death on my altar
And behold the great Therion”
Morbid curiosity arouses the mind
When loathsome intent echoes with harrowing hearts
Lead me unto the path of damnation
Screams resound amongst tombstones from whence I hark
And in the dying light
Within the deepened night
Behold the Judas star
The word, the gospel
Of the Evangelion
Bleak is the mourning, so bitter with frosted hate
A callous angel perched in dread and dew scented
Frozen in throes of torment glorified
Spitting serpent tongue with words long unlamented
Welcome the presence of the unholy
Encased behind glass cases in haunted hearts
The names of Legion made legend return
And in the dying light
Within the deepened night
Behold the Judas star
The word, the gospel

Bound by the chains that thought to control He
Fire blazed across stars from one tiny spark
Igniting the flame from whence we all burn
We are the fallen
Spiral from the sky
The corroded stars
That never die
