Sickness
God please banish this infernal illness! I’m tired of pushing it back! It disappears for a moment only to return and drown me in my own delusions!
It continuously fails to suppress me, but its persistence is wearing me down. Its anchors sink into me, slowing my progress, and fighting it proves to be worthless!
Torment me no longer! You're but a mere nuisance! I will not be slain by my mind's sickness!
Doctor help me cure my illness! I’m tired of facing it alone! It fades into nothing but once I think I have won it comes back to add to my suffering!
Yet again it fails to end me, but this struggle eats at my will! Conquering the same enemy over and over does nothing to improve my health!
