He's not always right
and that's not important
but the focus
determination
love in his heart that shines
bright
undiminished by my reticent ways

Is it not where my answer lies
in doing just that

To know if it's real love
or just whimsical notions

If he stays the couse
shows the emotion for me only
the strength of a softer nature
then my masked quest will be
rewarded upon his lips with
many kisses and hands that
hold on tightly never to go
