Fighting is the hard bit
Harder still is the victory,
Following every victory
The fighting will start
All over again and again
No time to celebrate
Despite being victorious
There can be no respite
The struggle is eternal
Till death endeth the game

There is no cure for the fight and the victory...it is like day and night...
Maybe the secret is to appreciate each one separately, feel the strength and the determination in the fight and the elation in the victory and continue...

maybe so - but sometimes all the victories are so small they don't feel real and life moves far too quickly that fight and victory meld

lost every fight I ever had,
made me very popular
with the other kids
although, looking back,
I was a bit hurt
by some of the things
they did...
