Life is too short

Take a moment to smell the flowers while you are here, make the time
What good are they to you on top of your casket?

Wear that special negligee tonight even if there is no one to wear it for
Your lover or next of kin will trash it; will not treasure it when you are gone

That aging wine has set long enough, have a glass and enjoy

The quarrel you had with your friend(s), family or significant other, settle it before the sun sets
No one is promised tomorrow, if they perished before you could apologize,
The weight of your heavy heart is far heavier than your pride from having to say I'm sorry.

If your heart has been broken, love again as if you were never hurt
The one who hurt you has moved on, time you did too

If you admire someone, let them know, stop playing games
Your admission may attract the same sentiments

As chaotic as life can be, there is still so much beauty to be found
Like being a companion to an elderly in a nursing home, or volunteering at a pound

Seize the tender moments while you can

Life is too short
