Cho

I’m not supposed to be this person, I suppose
I’m not supposed to be this know-it-all, whose genius is fool’s gold
I’m not supposed to be The Mask – my personality’s two-fold
The truth told, I’m too old
To be chasing after ladies like I’m crazy, looking for a mate
Like a game of chess, hoping for a break
Before it’s late; but in the rush I make four mistakes
Forty mistakes, same flaws and mistakes

Coming to grips with these stalemates sorta frustrates
What you expect when your Achilles heel meets a floor of blades
Or scorching flames? Can you ignore the pain?
Or is it beautiful pain and you want more of the same?
There ain't no time like the present to leave those things in the past
I’m sick of this mad cycle of revisiting past acts
I’m 'bout to start tinting the glass
It’s just a brick for the mansion, another stitch in the pants
