Oyster
we need your fire
we admire your force
we love your masculinity
you are the yang in our yin
the eye in our hurricane
the rock in our storm
you can choose
to use your hands
to heal or hurt
to open
your heart
or close it
to be a solid base
a safe place to bloom
or a bog in which we sink
you can make us or break us
embrace us or reject us
the choice is yours
in the end
you need us
as we need you
you are ratio
we are emotion
you balance us out
and silence our storm
let your shell be a shelter
your soul our sanctuary
your heart our home
we will love you for it
we will cherish you for it
we will be your devoted girl
for all oysters can create a pearl
we admire your force
we love your masculinity
you are the yang in our yin
the eye in our hurricane
the rock in our storm
you can choose
to use your hands
to heal or hurt
to open
your heart
or close it
to be a solid base
a safe place to bloom

Re: Re. Oyster
Thank you so much for your comment, dear Crim!
It always makes me smile to hear how someone interprets my work... this was meant to be a male version of Orchid (someone wrote that men need to hear that as well) but as usual the words go their own way, in the end... I hope this reads as an Ode to men :-)
Love, Duende

We all have the capacity to do good or do harm. This is a powerful message you've spread here. The choice is up to each of us, man or woman. :)

I'm glad to hear you think it's a powerful message :-)
I truly believe we have a choice, men and women, but his one was especially written for men (the male version of Orchid)

This was truly stunning,Duende. You've captured beautifully the way in which man is recieved by a woman,
the male and female energies and how they connect. The artwork was a perfect addition. Well done...

There are those of us who are honored to be that rock. We cherish it, love it, can't live without it. We're not complete without it. What beautiful ink, my friend!

This radiates the beautiful soul within you. Angelic touch laid out with life's experiences. The balance of feminine and masculine energy is such a beautiful thing. To intertwine with the understanding of how beautiful, gentle, yet fierce and strong we are. This was amazing.

Thanks for your comment, Todski
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed this one :-)
I wish to believe it's not fully forgotten! I once read an article where the author stated that it goes wrong between men and women, because the equality we have on social and economical aspects has now settled in every aspect, while we should admit that men and women are not equal (we have different qualities and that's what makes it work, or should make it work ;-))
