Shout out to that Guy!

That guy must be one hell of a dude... Maybe he doesn't know how to earn your inbox.. Don't let your stubbornness guide you. Us men let it guide us unintentionally.

In later reflection... I think it's more about my feelings and how deeply I breathe others in than the actual guy himself...Anyway turns out I was about to to let go of my stubbornness only to find out he's now taken.

Right person, wrong time kind of thing but I'll keep smiling anyway :)

Nice concept and the "shout out" style is relaxed. Definately a good one. The humour in the second last stanza brought a smile.

If I may say... If I was you, I'd pop your shout out guy an inbox. It's probably all he ever thinks about. ( DU life experience talking)

Thanks for your great feedback. I was a little nervous posting so the fact you enjoyed it means a lot :)

I think with this one it was based on the truth but I got a little carried away at times exaggerating things slightly...or maybe I do feel this way and im just realising I don't even know :D
As for the inbox anyhow I'm too stubborn for that and he hasn't earned it...but I am interested to see if he eventually reads any of my writes to see if he connects with 'this' me, not knowing he already knows the other me (haha I know brain boggling)

Haha perhaps a metaphorical limb as I quite like my limbs as they are 😁 ...although not my intention guess it is a way to make sure people are paying attention to the whole poem putting something in to trip them up. Thanks for the comment 😘
