Philosophy on the fly

 
The butterfly is the symbol of thought
with the action all being in the stage
of the larvae and pupa.
 
Caterpillars have too many feet  
to be tripping over thought  
and the chrysalis is too busy digesting itself.  
 
And so one day he just wakes up thinking,  
and the world looks really different.
