I love it. I've written them on other subjects but you've piqued my interest.
The meter of the opening line seems a little off to me:
"Back in the 50's she bought an Edsel"
Maybe you could do something like:
"In 56 she bought an Edsel"
(that was a totally off-the-cuff suggestion with very little thought)
Amusing though, as Limericks go.
