THE BOY FROM YESTERDAY
If I could see the boy from yesterday
I`d take him in my arms
and tell him everything will be okay
If I could see the boy from yesterday
I`d whisper to him ….
“try as he may,
we will endure,
our lives weren’t meant
to be a monster’s prey”
If I could see the boy from yesterday
I`d tell him to never give up
I`d tell him about the strength
he has hidden away
in his hearts cache
If I could see the boy from yesterday
I`d take him in my arms
and tell him everything will be okay
I`d tell him for now
he must run along and play….
I`d promise him I would come back
to save him someday

There should be a love button. This moved me. Reminding me of my own dreams when I am the adult gone back in time to rescue\protect the beautiful little girl that I was. That little girl had no idea how precious she was. I tell that little one, that she will be OK. I won't let anything happen to her.
