Maddness of a Broken Heart

I wrote this during my little hiatus from DUP figured i'd share
enjoy...

Ran in eyes closed, heart racing and hoping
that finally its me, finding someone unconditionally
such was the dream that you dared to dream
making you forget that most dreams are over once you’ve opened your eyes
and then its back to the lies, no smiles just distance
that dream of happiness gone in an instance…such is the madness of a heart break
there is nothing you can take, no pills no drink
only of betrayal are the thoughts that you think
you’re at work and your working, but the pain is still lurking
Breathing down your neck, pounding through your chest..
You take a deep breath and begin to count 1234….….567 more…
but there is no peace no break , your hands still shake,
your heart makes your whole body ache … such is the madness of a broken heart
I said NEVER AGAIN! and it happened again. I said NEVER once more…and it happened twice more
such is the madness of a broken heart…      
It’ll have you wondering why me? Why did I let you in? to begin……with, I knew I shouldn’t I knew I couldn’t
You told yourself they were different but they were no different from the rest, and you were no different  from the you… you were so long ago,
but new you and old you are now the same, broken hearted from the pain,
and just like before you put up walls again
such is the madness of a broken heart.
You think about what was and what could have been,
but now its clear that It will not and never will be
You did this to yourself, and you probably will again because love is your lock and your key,
your defeat and victory, through love is the only way you feel free
such is the madness of a broken heart…
