Awakened

I wished on a shooting star last night
Till Isis told me
I was worshiping the wrong one
So I switched constellations
Changed gears from walk to run

Its hot under the sun
But it's lonelier when it's cold
Thoughts keep me company
Wondering what my future holds

Keep Ignoring it
Is the easiest thing to do...
Act like the universe does not apply to you

But I see the light through once blinded eyes
And I chose to leave the negative behind
Hoping optimism comes to cradle
And hand me a ladle
Full of grateful energy

Reprimand me
Fly me to a land of peace trees and tea leaves
Lullabies and melodies
Sounds good....
But such a fantasy
I see.....most definitely
But I feel......most defiantly

Confusion brings illusions
To a mental block
Stuck between a hard place and a rock
Yes, I flipped it
But since when do I stick to the norm?
I refuse to conform
For I have been reborn
And society does not apply to me
I won't be someones liability
I just want peace and
Half way I will meet
But Im faced with defeat
As I try to restore something that was never meant to be
But Im always to dumb to see
Till Im given words of wisdom
And fed by spoon some understanding

I've been inspired
To let it to the wind
Give it my feelings, emotions, and all that I miss
Cuz truth be told
The vibe is cold....
And I hate that I still reminice about the nights
I let it be known
I was weak
And to the outside
The meager mink
Im torn and fuming
Emotions resuming
Trying to steal my sleep
Am I too deep?
I know not what I want
But I know what I need
Desire is taking over
And slowly it sneaks crescents of me

I will miss the softness
And the way I played
Sweet melody freestyles
On drunken rainy days
But my sense will bring the strength
That I need to build my wills desire

I will not put this out
But only build my fire
Till the vigilance brings me
Happiness and power
I reign as goddess in futures shower
