You Keep Asking
You won't stop and you keep asking if I'm okay
But if I wasn't yesterday, why would I be today?
You broke my walls down and then broke a part of me
Why do you keep pretending, when you can clearly see
The pain, the hurt, the sadness in my bloodshot eyes
All from you not keeping your word, then covering it with lies
You claim you wanted to keep our friendship from changing
So you lead me on and left me to swing, hanging
On a thread of hope, strangling me so I can't breath
But you keep running around doing what you do you thief
I hope you choke on the prince charming, angelic guy act
I know it's just my anger speaking but you're a pick, that's a fact
But if I wasn't yesterday, why would I be today?
You broke my walls down and then broke a part of me
Why do you keep pretending, when you can clearly see
The pain, the hurt, the sadness in my bloodshot eyes
All from you not keeping your word, then covering it with lies
You claim you wanted to keep our friendship from changing
So you lead me on and left me to swing, hanging
On a thread of hope, strangling me so I can't breath
