my life as a song
I just woke up inside of a body I've hated for too long
I just realized my life as a movie and added a song
In a scale of B minor, its intro is all about rules
And the verse, so depressing, describes the way reality fools
But the chorus...uplifting! I can't get it out of my head
and its always repeated, like a pattern on a spider's web
Now the outro is almost my fingertips' prints upon my guitar
It's the thing that keeps me going, it's the gas in my physical car
I will never rewind
I will never go forward fast
I'll play this solo with no back up help, if I must
I will improvise the bridge and then I'll jump to the crowd
I'll bang my head downwards and say fuck off outloud
This is my stage, this is my concert
Thank you for coming, you all have been awesome
