Leah

There's a maelstrom in my head, so much I want to say but haven't organized anything coherent, let alone paragraphs.

There's a genuineness about you that springs eternal.
It's such an intrigue  how you live your life and live your truths.
You are such a marvel, mysterious, awesome, indescribably beautiful.

I luxuriate in your wisdom.

Leah,  I love to hear you talk.
Truly. Like how  peanut butter spreads  over warm toast. Melting and mashing up together to create something delicious. I don't know where I am heading with this imagery.

So far you have been a rare gem.
Unique. Easy to talk to and to be around.
You are such an authentic soul, legit, organized - like the meeting of  ocean waves and shore on a quiet day.

I am grateful to have met you and forged a friendship with.
In a world full of noise, your calm presence is nothing short of a welcome respite.
I am looking forward to a lifetime of laughter and friendship and learning not to pause, to pursue worthwhile causes because I am not a main clause, I need friendships like these to stand beyond my feet. I need you, Leah. Like the rain needs ground to fall on, words are not my strongest suit. So see beyond them, and see me.
