Blessing to Lesson
Finally putting down your guard
Finally disregarding your wall
Finally you open, and finally you flood
Never has anyone peeked into to your soul and read the secrets off your heart
Such a blessing…
Never has anyone had you daze off into daydream fantasies so hard
Mind too fixed for you to breathe, too lost in thought for you to think
Intoxicating blessing indeed
Professor heartbreak giving the best lectures
Reviving the hibernating passions of your flesh
Thinking your living in the discovery of a blessing
Consciousness… you finally awake and now you see
That blessing you thought you had, now unmasked
Displaying the horrors of your delusion
What was thought to be pleasure, now revealed to be pain
Unintentional it may have been but the agony of its sting seems realistically deliberate
This one, who was supposed to be the one,
This one that gave you wings then ripped them from your back midflight
This one that made your heart race only to leave you to run alone
No refuge from this sense of ultimate betrayal, how misplaced was your faith
You were told there is beauty in the attempt, but all you feel is failure from the mistake
You risk a lesson for the blessing, and now you’ve learned…
Better to be liking and lusting
Instead of having and holding
When you know it’s not a blessing
Cause forever is too long for lesson learning
Thinking you finally found your blessing, oops you were wrong just another lesson

Reading between the lines I think we have/are learning the same lessons in love and life. I under and over stand your pain. The ones that break down our walls are always the same to make them go from brick to titanium made.
