Strawberry Tart

The drivers flying down the pike
Would see her flip a thumb in air,
This flower child who loved to hike,
A sundae dream without a care.

With halter top and cutoff bells
That showed a glimpse of berry bush,
Around her neck the puka shells
That jiggled ev'ry step she took.

When she would lean, oh! the affect.
Her long pink hair was striped with sun,
The boys and men would "stand" erect!
She fascinated everyone.

To send a signal for a ride,
A berry basket in her tote,
She'd reach and pluck from her supply
And suck the juice right down her throat.

The highway fantasies that rose.
To know her name, give her your heart,
To hold her tight, one never knows,
But just for now, Strawberry Tart!
